GENERAL

Second-year player...talented post player who will give the Buffs experience and depth at the post positions.

AT WTAMU

2003-04: Appeared in all 28 games for the Buffs...started 23 games...recorded a .500 field goal shooting percentage, hitting 77 of 154 shots...averaged 7.3 points and 6.3 rebounds per game... led the team in rebounds and was 12th in the LSC... averaged 8.8 ppg in conference games... scored in double-figures in six games, including career-high 18 points in win at Abilene Christian (2-26-04)... pulled down double-digit rebounds in four games, including career-high 13 boards in loss at Colorado School of Mines (11-21-03)... led the team with .800 free throw percentage (48-60), would have ranked third in the conference statistics, but did not reach the minimum to be ranked.

AT TEMPLE COLLEGE

Played forward for Temple College under the helm of Coach Kirby Johnson... earned All-Conference accolades and was ranked 17th in the nation in steals.

IN HIGH SCHOOL

Earned All-District honors at Spring High School and was named to the McDonald's All-American Team.... averaged 15 points, 10 rebounds, two blocks and three assists while playing.

PERSONAL

Born March 26, 1983... son of Lera and Richard Higginbotham... a psychology major.
