Arendijus Mejeras joins the West Texas A&M coaching staff for his second season, after a stellar playing career for the Buffs, helping them to the 2002-03 LSC Championship.

Mejeras, a Vabalninkas, Lithuania native, appeared in 56 career games at WTAMU, scoring 156 career points, averaging 2.8 points per game. He pulled down 174 career rebounds, with an average of 3.1 rebounds per contest.

Mejeras came to WTAMU after a two-year career at Weatherford College, where he was named Most Valuable Player on a team that won the NTJCAC championship.

Mejeras is pursuing a master's degree in education. His younger brother, Jordanas is a sophomore guard on the WTAMU squad this season.
