WADSWORTH, Ohio - Appearing in his second prestigious All-Star event of the offseason, West Texas A&M All-American Robert Lee made his presence felt with a strong showing at the Collegiate Basketball Invitational in Wadsworth, Ohio. After being recognized for his strong play, Lee has been selected to participate in the event's All-Star Game, which will take place at 7 p.m. (CST) Saturday and can be seen live on ESPNU.

In three games at the event, Lee averaged 12 points and 7.3 rebounds per contest while competing against top players from across the nation. The Fort Worth, Texas, native, playing for the City of Wadsworth team narrowly missed a double-double during play on Thursday, contributing 14 points on 5-of-6 shooting from the field to go along with nine rebounds. His solid play continued on Saturday as he made 7-of-14 field goal attempts to produce 14 points and eight rebounds during the tournament's third place game.

For his efforts on the court during the invitational, Lee was one of only 20 players selected to the CBI All-Star game which were announced Saturday at the Medina County Convention and Visitor's Bureau CBI Awards Reception celebrating the two-days of competition on the court. Lee will represent the West Team during Saturday's All-Star game.

The Collegiate Basketball Invitational is a major national basketball event that gathers the finest 64 senior men's basketball players from all of National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II and Division III and National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Division I and Division II.

The event will take place at Wadsworth High School in Wadsworth, Ohio, and each team will have eight players in an eight-team bracket. Six games will be played both Thursday and Friday with the championship game being played Friday night at 8 p.m. (ET). The CBI will conclude with an all-star game Saturday evening at 8 p.m. (ET) in front of a live, ESPNU audience as 20 players will selected to play in the game.

In addition to participating in the Collegiate Basketball Innovational, Lee was also distinguished earlier this spring with an invitation to the NABC/NCAA Division II All-Star Game which was held March 28, at the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame in Springfield, Mass. Lee becomes the second straight Buff player to be honored with the standout recognition that comes from being selected to both premier All-Star events as WT All-American Damein Lolar was selected after his standout senior campaign in 2006-07.
