General: An outstanding cover man, Thomas returns as one of the top cornerbacks in the Lone Star Conference.

2007: Thomas earned first team all-LSC honors after totaling 50 tackles (29 solo, 21 assisted) and breaking up 12 passes. He led all Buff defenders with five interceptions, as well as his 98 yards in interception returns. He had a pair of picks against Eastern New Mexico, returning one for 44 yards and the second for 40 yards. His high tackle outing was a nine-stop night (seven solo, two assisted) against South Dakota, while he broke up three passes against Angelo State.

Junior College: Thomas spent two seasons at Fresno City College, where he played both cornerback and kickoff returner. He helped lead the Rams to a 10-2 record in 2006.

High School: Thomas was a multi-sport athlete while at Fresno (Calif.) Sunnyside HS.

Major: Thomas is majoring in General Studies at WTAMU.
