2007-2008 (Freshman):
In her freshman debut, Unruh saw action in 30 games and started in three. She totaled 212 points, averaging 7.1 points per game. She went 75-166 (.452) in field goals, 48-71 (.676) from the free throw line, and 14-35 (.400) from behind the arc. She averaged 4.5 rebounds, totaling 135 offensive and defensive boards. She enjoyed a career high of 18 points against Northwest Missouri in postseason action.
High School:
Unruh was named Amarillo High School's Female Athlete of the Year for two consecutive years and also earned second team all-district honors as a junior and first team all-district as a senior. She was named to the Amarillo Globe News 5A Super Team and recognized for her academic success by being named to the 5A State Academic Team. Unruh graduated in the top 10% of her class and was a member of the National Honors Society. She also lettered in volleyball for three years and track for four years, helping the volleyball team become State Champions her senior year. She was named second team all-district as a junior and first team all district as a senior and was a Regional Qualifier for four years in track.
