Head women's golf coach Meredith Jameson, formerly Meredith Easley, is now in her third season at West Texas A&M after taking over the reigns of the program prior to the 2005-06 season.

Jameson began her collegiate golf career at Texas Christian University in the fall of 2001, before transferring to West Texas A&M in the spring of 2003. While a member of the Lady Buffs golf team, Jameson earned numerous honors, including being a three time first team All-LSC and All-Academic Team selections. Jameson also received national recognition for her work in the classroom, garnering a spot as a National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA) All-America Scholar selection and a place on ESPN The Magazine's Academic All-District VI Team. In addition, Jameson was named the LSC Scholar Athlete-Award winner in 2005.

The Amarillo native earned NGCA All-America accolades twice, following the 2003 and 2004 seasons and was an honorable mention for the award in 2005.

During her WTAMU career, Jameson was a three-time NCAA Division II West Regional Qualifier. She also claimed a spot in the field for the Division II National Championship in the spring of 2003, where she posted an 11th place finish. As a senior Jameson earned her second trip to the National Championships in 2005. During her time in Canyon, she notched 25 Top-10 finishes in 29 career events.

Jameson graduated from West Texas A&M in the spring of 2005 with a degree in history and is currently pursuing her master's degree in history. In addition to being the head women's golf coach, she also serves as Academic Coordinator for WT Athletics. Jameson married Jimmy Jameson a graduate of West Texas A&M and a member of the men's golf team from 2002-2004, during the summer of 2006. The couple reside in Amarillo.
